* Note: For all of 2010 I am inquiring how imagination; deep play; and drawing bring about spontaneous remission from illness and disease within the context of Contiuum Movement. Through my daily practice, teaching, and meditation I will offer what I have discovered at the quarterly retreats. These retreats, held at Dancing Waters Inn in Wimberly (the site of Jacob's Well on Cypress Creek) start on Friday with council. We set the context of the weekend bringing in the Continuum Movement piece and an art exploration. Depending on the needs of the group we either enter silence on Saturday finding our own rhythms from walking the land, swimming in the creek and disolving via continuum or the group might choose to continue with alternating teaching continuum pieces with practicing the work in a more structured way. From this reverent place we have the opportunity to slow down and be in resonance with ourselves and one another. You may also participate through an ongoing study group via blog entries; skype and tokbox conversations and occastional classes.

Retreat content is guided by the ongoing investigation of "Impeccable Regard." We work with what is alive in us from first order experience exploring how deep play; creative expression and impeccable regard contribute to spontaneous healing and a state of well being within the context of Continuum Movement. Slowing down, connecting with the land and water and with continuum movement, recalibrate us to the appreciation of the cosmic meaning and intent of the Vernal Equinox, where light reemerges. The art offering will be painting with fluid acrylics on canvas pad using living water. We will share the responsibility of the food by signing up to bring a salad or a soup or main course to share.

*Limited to 8 Participants

Journey into Continuum Movement

Private Studio in Austin, TX

1-6 PM

Tuition: $95.

June 12, 2010

Open systems are healthy and resonate with the living fluid matrix inside our bodies (on earth and throughout the galaxy). In Continuum Movement we tune our organism to a broader band of health, thus creating new pathways of movement through innovation and undulation.

By the time many of us are in our forties, we have symptoms of illness or disease. Like asthma, chronic fatigue, arthritis, allergies, IBS, edema, joint pain.., the symptoms are information that we can use to navigate upstream and contact and dissolve the original source. The source may be an “adaptive pattern” that is creating a closed system where the organism is recycling the same information. These adaptive patterns are actually a form of paralysis often held in the breath. Adaptive patterns create tissue weakness. Weak tissue is vulnerable tissue. In Continuum Movement we teach and model breaths, sounds and movement that change this density of the tissue from a compressed state to tissue that moves like silk over the bones. Dissolving the patterns that created the weak tissue opens opportunities for health and for the organism to do something different (instead of the repetitive symptom). This creates an open system. Whether your needs are:  to find an interesting way to move; self care & healing; connection; resurrection; or a cosmic dream, Continuum Movement offers resources for your particular conscious evolution.

Each Journey experience is unique and designed as an introduction for beginners as well as ongoing support for Continuum Movement devotees.
